But the Caliph's young son, Ali, fled and was adopted by Old Baba, chief of a band of thieves. The outlaws raised Ali and now that he ia a man he has become their leader. Ali's mortal enemy is Prince Cassim who betrayed his father to the Kahn for greed and position.
