Plot Summary, Synopsis, Review: IMDb - - Determined that he will be crowned the new king of England, the hunchbacked Richard of Gloucester instigates a plan to eliminate all possible successors to Edward IV, whose death is imminent. After giving orders to have his imprisoned brother George, the Duke of Clarence, murdered, Richard woos Anne, the wife of Edward, Prince of Wales, and later marries her. Following the death of Edward IV, Richard, with the aid of the equally ambitious Duke of Buckingham, has the queen's family executed. Richard is eventually proclaimed king, and after his coronation, he assassinates his nephews, Edward V and Richard, the Duke of York, who have been imprisoned in the Tower of London. Later, under mysterious circumstances, Anne dies, and Richard....
