The defeated are brought before Barbarossa. They lower their standard to him and he stamps on it. The children are taken away. Albert von Guissano is seen offering prayers. Outside the church, women are seen weeping as Albert comes out. He calls his men to arms and they leave for battle. His soldiers are seen gathered in a church where they swear an oath of allegiance and offer prayers. Albert is then seen leading his men to the battlefield through woodland. A priest blesses them. A group of Barbarossa's men spots the approaching army and heads back to their camp. Albert's army sets off to battle and there are scenes of the wounded. The battle continues and Albert and Barbarossa fight, the latter being fatally wounded. The victorious Albert returns to the chapel with his betrothed to give thanks (914ft). Note: German intertitles».
