Merlin the Magician wants to make sure the young Arthur is being looked after properly before he becomes King, so he sends Lancelot (Marc Singer) through a window in time to act as his bodyguard. However, Merlin's enemy, the wicked sorcerer Wolvencroft (John Saxon), gets wind of this scheme and instead sends Arthur and Lancelot forward into the future, to Los Angeles near the end of the 20th century.
