This large-scale epic follows the exploits of Suleiman the Magnificent, the leader of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th Century, as he tries to conquer Europe. The film wastes no time getting to the action as a band of Turkish invaders first slaughter Germanic villagers, then abduct their children to train as warriors. But Orlovich, the Germanic leader, retaliates and his army saves the kids. There’s no time to celebrate however, as one of his prisoners warns Orlovich of Suleiman’s huge army advancing on them and destroying all villages in its path. Orlovich quickly moves his men into the heavily fortified fortress of Szigetvar, but Suleiman sends a group of emissaries to the fortress to demand surrender...».
