Plot Summary, Synopsis, Review: IMDb - entertainment.msn.com - tvguide.com: «This lighthearted musical adaptation of the legendary Marco Polo journey to the Orient was filmed at the Toho studios and on various locations in the Orient, giving the picture an exotic quality accented by lavish sets and costume designs. Zero Mostel is the powerful Kublai Khan, who has taken a great liking to Marco Polo (Desi Arnaz, Jr.), selecting a daughter for the young adventurer to marry, as well as appointing him special emissary to Madagascar. Marco may not be accurate in its depiction of the famous journey, but it makes for pleasant viewing. In one of the better sequences, the filmmakers used Animagic, a process that combines animation with live action, for Polo to relate his adventures to the palace children. Songs include: "By Damn" (sung by Win, Arnaz, Weston), "Walls" (sung by Mostel), "A Family Man" (sung by Mostel) and "Spaghetti" (sung by Weston, Arnaz)».
