When crusty old Frederick Van Helsing (Rod Steiger) unwittingly hires inner city gang bangers as his vampire hunting assistants, an outrageous juxtaposition of characters and cultures is set into action-packed motion. This is only a mediocre vampire movie. Although it has some gory biting-scenes (do we not all enjoy such scenarios). And again, there is the famous Udo Kier - the *vampire-movie-man*.
